An outstanding HR Assistant looking for that next step to HR Officer? An enthusiastic HR Administrator who has picked up aspects of the role above and beyond? Then this position might be your ideal next step!


What you will cover:


High volume recruitment for a company with 1000+ employees, from initial placement of job adverts, CV sifting and liaising with managers across the UK to organise interviews, give feedback, send contracts, induction packs and arrange training. You will need a strong administrative background to log all the details, and ensure all steps are followed; resilience to deal with the common issues of this area and manage all the process.


Training provision. This covers both internal training, from booking diaries, ensuring that all training is logged and attended and sending out letters to confirm. External providers will need to be contacted and booked as and when required so a firm and clear communication manner is required as well.


HR and ad hoc Management Reporting. From sifting through data to providing daily reports for the Board and Head of HR you will have outstanding IT skills, be able to input Excel Formulas and use all aspects of Outlook. This is a company where accuracy is key so you will have a keen eye for detail and be grammatically correct.


Reward and Benefits. You will be able to immediately know what band people are in, what contract they belong to and therefore what benefits and reward package comes with their role. You may not have worked in this area before but you need to be able to pick up new information quickly and with ease.


This company is looking for the HR Officer to also demonstrate the following:


Excellent team work. The HR team is close knit and support each other so you need to fit their professional but outgoing nature


Keen desire and ambition. This is not for someone looking to do the same role day in day out. You need to have a real passion for HR, you want to find things out, develop your knowledge and know your strengths.


Procedurally driven. This is a high volume role. You will be someone who can multi task to the highest level, you can keep control of all the areas you are juggling and do so with a smile.


Professionally you need to be of degree calibre. CIPD qualified is desirable but not essential.


Based in Huddersfield you will need to be able to commute at rush hour or live close by.
