Insurance -Trainee Accounts Assistant : Bedford : Salary £16,000 - £18,000 DOE

Our client is looking for a trainee account assistant to join this thriving Independent Broker in the heart of Bedford.

Trading for over 30 years they pride themselves on providing a first class personal service to all clients across the region and due to the exceptional relationships with Insurers they are able to provide cover and premiums that are some of the best available in the market.

They are now looking for enthusiastic, motivated accounts assistant who has a passion to succeed in a fast paced environment.

The role is to provide administrative support to the accounting team and assist with the day to day running of the office.

Your duties will be varied and as you progress you will be learning all aspects of the business and accounts so you will have a broad knowledge of the company’s accounts department.

Alongside your standard duties you will also be trained in other elements of accounts as per the company’s needs. The Accounts Assistant role is to support the Accounts function in all aspects of dealership accounts. This includes: banking and Insurer accounts.

You will need excellent IT and Numeracy Skills, Analysing, Writing and Reporting. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise own workload, Professional approach and attitude. Experience within an insurance environment would be helpful but not essential.
