An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our SME client at a time of high growth. They are looking for a commercially focused Finance Manager to join the business.


Reporting into the Finance Director the role will be a ‘hands on’ position, you will responsible for the full finance function and all the day to day accounting. Key duties and responsibilities will include;
• Monthly management accounting and financial reporting
• Statutory accounts and Year-end close
• Trial balance / P & L / Balance Sheet / Month End
• Management of the finance team on a day to day basis
• Supporting the Finance Director
• Reconciliations
• Monthly payroll and employee expenses
• Intercompany transactions and reporting
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• KPI reporting, financial performance analysis and reporting
• Production of audited accounts and tax returns
• Supporting growth


The successful candidate will possess a technically strong background and be able to demonstrate a high level of commercial aptitude. It is essential that you are ACCA, CIMA or ACCA Qualified, with relevant experience within the fast paced SME Sector. Candidates with a strong academic background and a good degree from a top UK University would be of interest to my client. The client can offer further development and progression. You will need to possess excellent MS Excel skills and any candidates with knowledge of QuickBooks would be of particular interest to my client.
