My client, a sports and leisure company, are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their expanding team. This position, based in Newmarket, will be overseeing the smooth running of the locations finance & accountancy. Although based in Newmarket the job requires somebody willing to travel on a regular basis. Working within a small team, this role reports into the Accountant & General Manager.

Main duties:

� Accounts Payable/Receivable
� Cash Management
� Credit Control
� Profit & Loss Statements
� Balance Sheet Reconciliation
� Management Accounts
� Assisting with month-end final accounts
� Assisting with budget preparations


Ideal candidate:

� 3+ years� in a similar role
� Willing to travel to different sites
� Flexible on working days
� Proficient IT skills, in particular good Excel skills
