My client based in Central London is currently recruiting for someone on a full time basis as a Tax Assistant.

The practice offers a service of the highest standard ensuring that clients are happy and professionalism is maintained.

Duties include:

• Preparing and submitting VAT returns for UK and Ireland
• Liaising with colleagues within the group
• Submitting monthly Intrastat dispatches and arrivelas reports
• Preparing and submitting of monthly and quarterly ECSL and VIES Declarations
• Notifying the relevant team and clients of VAT payments, repayments
• Assisting with queries to VAT repayments
• Assisating with personal tax complance matters including preparing of income tax returns and computatoins
• Managing and updating inhouse database
• Liaising with HMRC and clients
• Ad hoc support to the tax team


Key skills:

• Strong Excel skills
• Experience of VAT intra - EU supplies
• Experience of working in VAT Compliance department
• Part Qualified - AAT/ATT
• Previous experience in dealing with Non-UK domiciled individuals
