An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client within the financial services sector at a time of high growth. They are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join and the business to lead the finance team and support the board and CFO.

Reporting into the CFO the role will be a ‘hands on’ position, you will responsible for the full finance function and all the day to day accounting. Key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Monthly management accounting and financial reporting
• Statutory accounts and Year-end close
• Management of the finance team on a day to day basis
• Supporting the Board and Finance Director with ad hoc Projects
• Budgeting and Forecasting
• Cash-flow management and reporting
• Treasury management- dealing with the banks and finance
• KPI reporting, financial performance analysis and reporting
• Operational accounting
• Production of audited accounts and tax returns
• New product launches
• Merger and acquisitions
• Managing external relationships
• Supporting the CFO with growth plans and strategy
• FSA reporting


For this role it is essential that candidates are fully qualified- ACCA/ACA/CIMA and have proven experience managing the finance function within a fast paced and dynamic organisation. Working in busy and dynamic environment, it is essential that candidates have strong communication skills and are confident dealing with people across the business. Having FSA experience is essential for this role.
