My client, an established business consultancy, is looking for a Payroll Manager to join their expanding team. This role, based in the High Wycombe area, is a hands on position dealing with numerous client payrolls as well as additional payment periods. Working within a larger team, this role reports into the Financial Controller.

Main duties:

� Dealing with a range of payrolls for over 500 staff
� Paying employees for expenses
� Making payments through CHAPS, BACS and Cheques
� Posting payroll journals at month end
� Reconciling accounts on a regular basis
� Supervising a small team of Payroll clerks


Ideal candidate:

� 5+ years� experience in a similar role
� Experience managing a team
� Knowledge of Payroll software
� Proficient with Excel
