Cameron James are working with a local leading employer to find a Recruitment Advisor specifically from the Legal sector for 12 months to support them covering a Maternity leave. Working within a fast paced professional services company, this is a busy and key position within a strong existing team.

The role:

As a Recruitment Advisor for the group your role will predominantly involve supporting the HR team and wider business to manage the recruitment process from end to end.

Your other responsibilities will include:

• To review all recruitment strategies and make appropriate recommendations to streamline any processes.
• To review the Recruitment PSL specifically with regards to Legal service agencies and re-broker this
• Organise all recruitment events and campaigns to ensure wide knowledge of the company.
• To support all recruiting managers during initial selection and interview giving constructive feedback.
• Liaise with candidates from initial approach to arranging interview, and delivering verbal feedback afterwards
• Complete all pre-employment checks as required
• Collate and verify all PES documentation including Right to Work, Activity and Residence
• Work with relevant managers to produce a monthly reminder report for probation review meetings and confirm successful probation passes in writing
• Maintain relevant HR systems and communicate with internal departments such as payroll for all starters and leavers information.


The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Previous experience of using a HR database and Microsoft Office packages
• Previous experience in house recruitment ideally in Legal services
• Ideally CIPD qualified or relevant recruitment qualifications
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
• Experience in managing a recruitment budget
• Proven account management skills
