Due to continued expansion they are looking for a commercial mid corporate team leader.




Over view of role

• To act as the senior liaison point between the head of Mid Corporate and the Mid Corporate Account Handling team.




• To provide leadership and guidance to the Mid Corporate Account handlers and to assist the Head of Mid Corporate to ensure an excellent standard of service is provided by the Mid Corporate Account Handling Team




• To provide an efficient high quality, added value, day to day service in order to retain and maintain a portfolio of clients




• To identify and refer any new or existing profitable business development/growth opportunities




• To identify, manage and control workflow the Mid Corporate Account Handling team, and


• ensure that all work is done in accordance with regulatory protocols as laid down by the FCA and the Company.




• To produce and analyse data relating to client service and report to Head of Mid Corporate on various key indicators.




• Working in conjunction with the Head of Mid Corporate, producing and implementing strategies and processes to ensure the achievement of key business objectives relating to client service.




• Assist Head of Mid Corporate and / or other stakeholders on implementation of training, procedures, and initiatives as appropriate.




• Liaises with Corporate/Commercial colleagues, Head of Office and other Teams within Birmingham Branch, as well as Insurers and Suppliers where appropriate.




Requirements


• A minimum of 3 years’ experience of commercial, mid corporate insurance and 1 years’ experience in a leadership role. Detailed knowledge of a variety of cover placement procedures, methods and techniques required




• Will exercise considerable discretion and independence under general guidance but refer to higher levels when required




• thorough knowledge of the appropriate classes of business with reference to appropriate experts when the cover falls outside their own expertise




• A thorough understanding of FCA regulations and guidelines as applied to the type of client being dealt with, and the Company’s processes for handling these.




• Competent in the use of Microsoft office packages (in particular Word and Exel) and in the use of Acturis including its reporting functions.
