Job Information

Cameron James are currently working in conjunction with a large Hotel & Spa in Leeds to recruit a Reception Manager for their busy Reception team.

This is a position ideal for a current Reception Manager looking for a fresh challenge or an Assistant Reception Manager looking for the next step.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• To lead and develop a team of 4 Reception staff
• To maintain and effectively use the Opera reservation and administration system
• To lead the customer service standards of the reception team for book in and departures
• To communicate daily and weekly goals to the whole team
• To effectively hand over to the Night Porter to ensure a seamless transition between shifts
• To actively sell on the front desk, to upgrade rooms and add ons such as the spa or dinner
• To take a proactive part in management meetings


Skills:

• To have worked in a Hotel environment previously within the Reception area
• To have previous Management experience in leading a team
• Ideally have used Oracle and Click View systems
• To be a genuine people person and love ensuring the highest service standards at all times
• To have a warm and outgoing personality to engage with guests and staff alike
• Have the ability to take the lead in meetings and contribute ideas


Salary:

Salary is up to £22,000 plus benefits
