Job Information

My client, based in St Albans, are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their team. This role is responsible for providing accountancy and administrative assistance to the accountancy team.

Main Duties:

• Purchase Ledger : processing invoices; checking purchase invoices; invoice distribution; processing cheques; preparing remittances
• Sales Ledger : raising invoices for customers; debtor list updates; raising credit notes; posting invoices
• Daily Banking
• Maintaining Cash Books
• Cheque payments
• Maintain ad hoc reports
• General Admin


Key Skills:

• 3 years’ + in a similar accounts assistant role
• Strong Purchase Ledger experience
