BOOKKEEPER/COMPANY ACCOUNTANT

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper to join a well known and rapidly growing organisation based in Wakefield. My client is looking for someone to join the accounts team on a full time, permanent basis to start as soon as possible. You will be required to have a minimum of 3 - 5years experience within such a role, promotion within the company is something they encourage and so progression is available.



SUMMARY

37.5 Hours Weekly

Very competitive salary dependant on experience



KEY DUTIES INCLUDE (But not limited to)



• To prepare monthly management accounts including income and expenditure and trial balance.
• To record and bank all incoming cash and cheques and distribute to relevant members of staff for processing.
• To maintain adequate controls with regard to debtors and creditors
• To monitor daily financial transactions via Nat West Bankline and reconcile daily to Sage.
• To act as the main point of contact in relation to branch accounting software
• To reconcile the Society’s bank account(s) on a monthly basis
• Monitor and process staff expenses
• To prepare monthly financial and management accounts





IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience within accounts. My client is looking to pay between £25,000 - £30,000 dependant on the candidate’s experience.
