Job Information
My client, based in Watford, are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their team : this role is a 6 month fixed term contract. This role is responsible for providing accountancy and administrative assistance to the accountancy team.Main Duties:
Purchase Ledger : processing invoices; checking purchase invoices; invoice distribution; processing cheques; preparing remittances
Sales Ledger : raising invoices for customers; debtor list updates; raising credit notes; posting invoices
Daily Banking
Maintaining Cash Books
Cheque payments
Maintain ad hoc reports
General Admin
Key Skills:
3 years + in a similar accounts assistant role
Strong computer skills
