Cameron James Professional Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading Homecare Services Provider to find a Group HR Manager for a 12-month maternity cover contract. This role will be predominantly covering Liverpool and Barnsley and is ideal for someone based in the Liverpool area as this is where your higher percentage of time will be spent.

The position:
To provide support across the full spectrum of HR issues ensuring compliance with policy, employment legislation and company best practice.
To work in partnership with the Managers to coach and empower them in dealing with HR issues
To ensure that any documentation produced for employment issues such as disciplinaries are at the agreed standards using appropriate wording.
To attend all hearings as appropriate in an HR capacity to ensure they are conducted appropriately. To ensure all notes taken are in the agreed format and compiled accurately.
To support change management across your area and the company as a whole
To take a lead in Tupe and ensure all due processes and consultation legislation is adhered to
To work closely with the Employee Engagement Officers and Recruitment Managers to improve the overall employee experience from the recruitment process to end of employment.
To support all line managers on absence management, offering guidance as required
To support managers with long term absence, looking at occupational health support and absence reviews.
To ensure staff files are compliant in each site and data protection and confidentiality policies are adhered to.
To handle ER cases ensuring recourse to indemnity insurance and external advisors.

The person:
Passionate about delivering a high level of HR service through your whole team
Have worked in a company with a high attrition rate
Ideally have a Health/Social Care background from an HR perspective
CIPD Qualified or equivalent
Strong understanding of Employment Law
Have line managed HR Administrators
Experience of providing support across multi sites and difficult situations
Be a car driver as travel is essential for this role
Be flexible in working hours
