Job Information

Our client is an IT company based in Middlesex; they are looking for an FP&A Analyst. . This role will be a key asset in the future growth of the company and there is potential within the role to progress to Financial Controller. As part of the Company’s finance team, this individual will be leading the FP&A function and will play a key part the Company’s financial quarterly forecast, annual budgeting process, operating plan variance analysis and special projects.

Key duties:

• Manage the consolidation and analysis of the weekly P&L forecast process (including variance analysis, forecast revenue, units and margin by customer and product)
• Manage the reporting of customer rebates and development of new presentation techniques (e.g. new customer statements, internal review formats)
• Evaluation of customer claims liabilities and rebates and reconciliation with provisions
• Provision of data to determine quarterly sales KPIs
• Manage the consolidation and analysis of the annual budget process
• Development of sales operational reporting (back orders, logistics (deliveries) and returns, WEEE)
• Development of customer profitability reporting
• Development of monthly executive reporting
• Analysis of month-end actual P&L performance by product vs forecast
• Deputise for the Financial Controller if required



Qualifications & Skills

• Qualified Accountant
• Track record in FP&A role
• Excellent data management skills and attention to detail
• Proven skills in planning, organising, communication
• Advanced level IT skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Oracle, Cognos, Hyperion)
• Commercially astute
• Process management/ownership and process improvement
• Confident and able to influence team members across all functions
• Able to work in a fast paced environment.
