My successful Central based client is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant position due to internal promotion. This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy team which is part of a £78million turnover business.

The role will be reporting directly into the Chief Group Controller who is looking for a candidate that can hit the ground running.

Duties include:

� Bank reconciliations
� Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts
� Profit and Loss accounts and balance sheets
� Accruals, prepayments and reconciling up to trial balance
� Assisting with budgets
� Fixed asset schedules
� Interco account reconciliation
� Variance analysis
� Assisting with consolidations and cashflows
� Preparing Annual audited accounts and information to the auditors
� VAT returns

There is room for progression if that is something that you are interested in, although this is a large company there are only 15 people based in this office and 4 in the accounts team so you must be able to work in a small hands on position.

Key skills:

� Candidates must be Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA
� Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
� Able to work on own iniatitive
� Strong accuracy and attention to detail
� 3 - 5 years experience within accounts
� Utilities/energy sector experience ideal
� Systems experience ideally Agresso, Hyperion although not essential

Offering competitive salary of c£40 - £50k dependent on experience
