Cameron James professional recruitment is currently working for an FMCG organisation that is looking for an experienced Production Planner that is available immediately for a permanent position.

The successful candidate will have UK based experience preferably within the FMCG market and be able to control and manage the daily work flow within a fast paced environment.

As a Production Planner you will be responsible for;

• Safety
• Hygiene
• Quality
• Utilisation
• Wastage levels
• Dispatch

Some of the duties for this position include;

• Ensures all operations are carried out according to company procedures, completes required
• documentation, and carries out other tasks as directed by management.
• Provide encouragement and motivation to team members to perform in the responsibility areas listed above and advise those not complying with good practice - never walk past a sub-standard situation without taking action.
• Brief the production team at the start of each day (on line) to communicate information and ensure
• properly organised. Use opportunity to provide encouragement and listen to any issues arising.
• Maintain an overview of production requirements and all factors affecting it: coffee supply
• material supply (laminates, cartons, labels, etc.)
• space and storage constraints
• break timing / cover ensure all requirements are completed and booked by due date deadline.
• variation in performance (machines behind or ahead of plan)
• changes to plan mechanical issues
• Provide organisation and communication (including to other departments) to minimise downtime, planning ahead to anticipate and prevent problems occurring.
• Effectively communicate changes to plan to all those affected and ensure properly organised to minimise any disruption.



You will need;

• Experience of working in a similar role
• Experience of working in a FMCG environment
• Experience of an order processing system
• Will need to have strong attention to detail and organisation skills
• Self-motivated
