Cameron James are working with a well-known charitable organisation in Leeds who are looking for an HR Administrator to join them on a permanent basis. This is a really exciting time to join the team.

The HR administrator is often the first point of contact for the HR department so needs to be able to handle all aspects from recruitment queries, contract and pay queries through to covering reception. Therefore, you must be able to handle a very busy administrative role and balance priorities across different tasks, and divisions.

Key areas of the role:

• Recruitment : from initial placement of adverts through to invitation to interviews.
• Contracts : ensure all contracts issued are correct and ensure any changes to hours or contracts are accurately updated
• Liaise with payroll to ensure any changes, holiday requests, SMP payments etc. are actioned at the appropriate time.
• Work with the HR team to handle any letters or correspondence to be sent out or minutes to be typed up
• Deal with any ad hoc administration duties that arise
• Cover reception as required and on a rota basis

The person:

• Will have an exceptionally strong Administrative background
• Be able to use full Microsoft Office suite
• Have a professional approach for all internal and external communication
• Be resilient under pressure
• Have an understanding and passion for HR
• Have a natural empathy when dealing with people
