Cameron James Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experience Payroll Administrator to join a professional services organisation in West Sussex. Working within a friendly working environment, you will be working as part of a team responsible for providing effective payroll and administration to the company.

This is a permanent position and requires someone who can start immediately.

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar position previously and ideally have SAGE experience. They will also have extensive experience in payroll administration and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be self confident and driven with team spirit and have commitment to team objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing the payroll processing timetable.
• Process payroll for the company within the group.
• Reconciling of PAYE and NI payments.
• Closing month end and year end payrolls.
• Produce P11ds and ensure payment is made on time.
• Set up the bank payments for payroll.
• Correspond and communicate with HMRC in all aspects of payroll including RTI.
• Liaising with outside providers, ensuring deadlines are met for payroll
• Data inputting to the UK payroll software
• Preparing payroll and payment journals
• Dealing with any queries from the accounts department
• General Administration duties, supporting the HR team.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Experience gained within a similar Administration Role
• Experience of inputting and Processing Payroll
• Excellent IT and Microsoft office skills
• SAGE experience preferred but not essential
• Good Attention to detail
