Cameron James Professional Recruitment are currently working with an FMCG organisation who are recruiting for an experienced Logistics Coordinator on permanent role that is immediately available.

Successful Coordinators will have UK based logistics experience preferably within the FMCG market and be able to comfortably manage & control daily work flow within a high paced environment. The ideal candidate must possess strong Microsoft Office skills especially within EXCEL (Pivot tables, Vlook ups). The ability to use systems such as SAGE and SAP would be an advantage.

The successful Logistics Coordinator shall also need to be customer focussed and have a proven track record of working in a time critical environment in order to excel within in this position.

This is an urgent requirement and candidates need to be immediately available

Roles includes;

• Receiving and processing daily orders using SAP.
• Demand sensing orders and ensuring orders meet the commercial agreements.
• Ensuring correct orders are raised by their warehouses and correct stock is dispatched.
• Monitor out of stocks and communicate with customers.
• Ensuring orders are raised in accordance with commercial agreements.
• Consolidating and manipulating orders to provide most efficient dispatch solutions and providing export documentation.
• Assist the team to work with the logistics partners daily to ensure they are operating to required standards and support the Logistics Manager in continuous improvement plans
• Assist the team to support numerous business functions (e.g. new markets and New Product Development launches)
• Offering Adhoc support within the Operations team to ensure they deliver the teams objectives

You will need;

• Experience of working in a similar role
• Experience of working in a FMCG environment
• Experience of an order processing system
• Must have strong MS office skills e.g. Excel (Pivot Tables & V Lookups)
• Experience of SAP an advantage
• Will need to have strong attention to detail and organisation skills
