Insurance IT Infrastructure Manager : Cheshire £40,000 - £60,000 + medical, Pension, Bonus, Car Allowance and other Benefits

My client based in Cheshire currently looking for an IT Infrastructure Manager to join their ever expanding IT department on a permanent basis to lead their end to end sourcing processes for the entire Infrastructure category.

The client is a leading Motor Insurance Broker who operates a call centre dedicated to providing insurance to the to a specialised market and has links with some of the world’s leading motor manufacturers.

This role is within the technology function and is a fantastic opportunity for any candidate looking to work for a major player in the insurance industry.

The individual will be responsible for several areas of the business: Networks, Telecoms, Datacentres, cloud services etc. You will also be responsible for the entire category strategy and improvement plans.

Role Responsibilities:

*Be in charge of full sourcing projects all the way through contractual completion.
*Work very closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop sourcing strategies and ensure that cost, risk requirements are met.
*Ensuring consistent application of value levels
*Build relationships with key stakeholders in the infrastructure category and efficiently prioritising their needs.
*Develop a solid pipeline of sourcing activities that align with contract expiry dates, potential saving costs etc.


Key Experience:

*Extensive experience within an IT Vendor management or procurement role.
*Must have worked with sourcing for: Networks, telecoms, datacentres, hardware, and infrastructure.
*Excellent and proven stakeholder management.
*Previous experience supporting large complex IT change programmes from a procurement perspective
*Previous experience in the Financial Sector.
