Founded in 1982 and currently turning over £3.5m this Insurance Broker is now in growth stage and has an opportunity for a Commercial Claims Handler to join their team in Cambridge.



Duties of the Claims Handler:



• Working within an established team servicing personal and corporate clients

• Involvement in all types of Commercial Insurance claims including Property, Liability and Motor along with Personal insurance claims including Household and Motor

• Broking administration will be carried out by other departments.

• Advising and liaising with Clients and Insurers via telephone, email and post

• Liaising with Loss Adjusters and other Intermediaries

• Maintenance of individual files and reporting internally • Liaison with other Departments and Account Executives



Requirements for the Claims Handler:



• 2 Years Insurance experience within an Insurer or Broker environment

• Experience dealing with General Insurance Claims in particular Commercial Property and Liability

• Excellent negotiation and customer service skills • Willingness to commit to undertaking the CII Exams

• Excellent communication skills : written and verbal

• Fluent in the English language

• Easily commutable distance to Cambridge / Happy to relocate

• CDL System User would be advantageous
