Our client is a reputable and growing business within the SME Sector; they are based in Romford. They are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join the business in a stand-alone role therefore previous experience within a similar environment is essential.

This varied and exciting role will include the following duties:

* Oversee the running of the Finance Department
* Supporting the MD and Directors
* Provide Financial Advice and Strategy
* Produce the monthly management accounts
* Produce the statutory requirements
* Budgeting and forecasting
* Manage the monthly payroll
* Manage cash book, cash flow and banking
* Month end reporting
* Bank reconciliations
* Maintain fixed asset register
* Purchase and sales ledger
* Produce the monthly debtor reports, monitor payment terms and work with the Directors.
* Year-end and Audit

Although this is a standalone as the business grows, the client is looking at bringing another candidate into the accounts team who will focus more on the transactional side so you will be managing another person

You will need to have experience in working in an SME in a stand-alone role. Candidates will be self-starters who are accustomed to working in a varied and hands on position. You will need to have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team. Knowledge of Sage Line 50 would be advantage. It is essential that you have worked in all round role, preferably within the SME Sector.

Offering competitive salary of c£30 - £35k
