I am currently recruiting for a Senior HR Business Partner to join a public sector organisation based in West London.

The role holds responsibility for developing, planning and delivering HR programmes and services to the site, as well as supporting the business strategy and objectives through people management expertise. Provide customer-focused consultancy that adds value, helps the organisation achieve successful results, and is valued by management and employees.

The successful candidate will have extensive HR Business Partner experience with a generalist slant, and a commercial, pragmatic focus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serves as a consultant to senior leaders on Human Resource related issues.
• Assesses and anticipates HR-related needs.
• Seeks to develop integrated solutions by communicating needs proactively with the HR department and business management.
• Formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and staff that reflect the business objectives of the organisation.
• Support the senior stakeholders to improve employee engagement and support the vision of the company.
• Identify potential employee relations issues and offer guidance
• Guides leaders in the decisions/processes concerning promotions, compensation adjustments, transfers, terminations, recruitment and staffing in line with global processes and policies.
• Offer advice, counsel, and guidance to develop a culture of high performance and low attrition.
• Supports organisational change and design by working with site management to identify business requirements and implement appropriate solutions
• May serve as a project leader for HR and business driven initiatives (i.e. organisational structure changes, cultural change, employee rewards, organisational effectiveness)
• Provides managers and leader coaching and counselling with objectivity and professionalism in dealing with sensitive issues
• Facilitates processes and guides leaders in identifying and developing top talent to meet future business needs
• Partner with the in house resourcing team to source and select talent for the business
• Play an active role in driving change; counsels leaders on their role in driving change
• Partners closely with senior leaders to improve employee performance issues
• Serves as an interpreter and advocate for HR policies, processes and programmes

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Degree educated or equivalent preferably with HR/business degree
• Qualified Member of CIPD ( MCIPD) or equivalent experience
• Strategic focus demonstrable from recent positions
• Substantial experience of managing HR professionals
• Strong leader and able to be a role model to all
• Change management and organisational design
