Corporate Account Handler : Manchester City Centre
Location: Manchester
Salary : up to £35k + Excellent Benefits +++

An exciting opportunity is now available for a Corporate Account Handler to join an already successful team for an established International Insurance Brokerage in the centre of Manchester.

Duties of the Corporate Insurance Account Handler Role:

� Provide broking and administrative services to a range of clients.
� Giving instructions to insurance providers.
� Supporting Account Executives on a day to day basis.
� Dealing with premiums of £50,000 +.
� Checking policy documents (including endorsements) for accuracy prior to receipt by clients.
� Handling invoicing of premiums due, maintaining effective credit control in respect of allocated clients.
� Processing correspondence, renewals, pre-renewal activity, quotations and computer input.
� Ensuring that all post and diary activity is completed on a daily basis.
� Collate and prepare reports for both the client and insurer market.
� Understand clients' situations, opportunities and problems and design appropriate solutions.
� Ensure, where possible, premiums are settled in accordance with company credit control procedures.
� Expand existing client portfolios to include additional covers and to produce new business leads for the sales team.
� Maintain and develop personal knowledge and skills through continued professional development as well as on-going at-desk training.
� Develop and maintain positive on-going relationships with insurers and underwriters in a professional manner.


Requirements for the Commercial Insurance Account Handler Role:

� At least 5 years of experience in mid Corporate and above
� Certificate of Insurance desirable
� Computer literate
� Excellent communication : written and verbal
