Job Information

My client, based in the City of London, are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger to join their expanding business. This role would be well suited to someone with lots of experience within Accounts Payable, who can support the Financial Controller and run the Purchase Ledger function of the business.

Main duties:

• Dealing with UK and International suppliers
• Posting purchase invoices both in GBP and overseas currencies
• Accurate price checking
• Trade Creditor reconciliations
• Reconciling Supplier Payments
• Processing and authorising invoices
• Dealing with all payment queries
• Working with multiple currencies
• Weekly / Monthly payment runs
• Raising purchase orders
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations

Experience Required:

• 2+ years’ experience in a Purchase Ledger Manager role
• ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified / Qualified
• Sage experience desirable
• Experience of high volume Accounts-Payable date entry
• Intermediate use of Excel : Pivot Tables/V Lookups
