My client is a market leader in their field due to rapid expansion they are looking for a Part Qualified Assistant Accountant to join their finance team.

Role:

The Assistant Accountant position is a rounded and varied finance role, reporting to the Company Accountant. The opportunity offers the chance to work for an established and respected business during an exciting period of growth.

Duties will include;

· Producing financial reports for management

· Maintain and record financial information including managing the credit control function (including the reporting of outstanding deficit contributions and production of late payer letters)

· Input of journals and assisting Financial Accountant

· Produce month end financial reports

· Maintain company information using Excel

· Resolve accounts and finance queries

· Ad-hoc projects as requested by Finance Manager / Financial Accountants

Person:

· The successful candidate will have:

· Previous experience within a similar accounts role, preferably Part-Qualified

· Be immediately available or available from a one-week notice period

· Strong IT system skills including MS Office Excel and Word



Ideally candidates will be AAT Qualified and studying their ACCA/CIMA qualification - Study support is potentially available



Salary - £25K - £30k + benefits package.
