New Business Coordinator / Tele-Sales Executive

Salary: Between £17,000 - £19,000 per Annum + Excellent Benefits

Location: Leeds

An opportunity has arisen to join a leading insurance broker as a New Business Coordinator at their branch in Leeds.

A national insurance broker that covers all types of insurance products. They have an excellent reputation in the market and also provide sound training and fantastic development opportunities.

You may already be in a similar role, looking for a larger, more stable company, with better prospects for progression.

Working hours are Monday : Friday from 9am : 5pm.

Key Duties;

• Creating new business opportunities for the retail team by contacting a set amount of future clients each day to obtain tiers of information and introducing the company to them
• Following up calls with other marketing activities such as emails, letters and campaigns
• Inputting and updating information into a sales system on future clients
• Updating new business income on the sales system
• Running monthly opportunity reports
• Collating and coordinating service and product marketing materials
• Liaising with central marketing to discuss ideas and plans over activities
• Recording activities and sales and marketing activities in the annual sales and marketing plan
• Managing a diary and arranging group internal meetings
• Updating future client records with news articles on a daily basis
• Preparing sales reports
• Supporting the development team with research on individual businesses and sectors
• Maintaining paper files as well as uploading paper records onto a CRM system

General Requirements;

• Accurate and conscientious with great planning and organisation skills
• Experience within an Insurance is essential
• Strong communication skills, resilience, confidence, a solid work ethic and enthusiasm
• Experience in a busy office environment & working as part of a team
• Dealing directly with clients with an excellent telephone manner, interpersonal and rapport building skills
• You will be computer literate with excellent knowledge of Excel, Word & Outlook
