My client is a successful law firm looking to employ a Legal Cashier who has knowledge of credit control to join their busy team in Leeds city center for a minimum 6-month contract.
The ideal candidate will work accurately with financial information in a demanding environment, completing work within set timescales.
· Handling financial transactions for internal and clients' accounts, inputting invoices, processing payments via cheques, BACS, CHAPS and credit card.
· Dealing with queries and obtaining authorisation from internal colleagues and external clients.
· Managing expenses and petty cash.
· Bank reconciliations.
· When necessary provide appropriate support for other roles as and when required.
· knowledge of credit control.
· Experience in bank payments, receipts & reconciliations and general billing
A Legal Cashier who is highly numerate, adaptable with double entry bookkeeping experience would be highly desirable. A person with written and verbal communication skills that are of a high standard with ability to adapt when appropriate.
You will be working in a small team a reporting directly into your team leader.
Salary £18000 - £19000 DOE
Hours : 9.00 : 17.30
