Senior Commercial Insurance Account Handler

Birmingham : Salary up to £35,000 DOE

We are looking for an experienced Senior Commercial Account Handler to join our client, a leading Brokerage based in Birmingham.

The office has experienced teams of Account Executives, Account Handlers and Claims Handlers servicing Commercial clients.

Responsibilities will include: -

You will be responsible for managing the daily commercial insurance requirements for a specific portfolio of clients ranging from medium sized enterprises, premiums ranging from 10,000 : 500,000 GWP.
The successful candidate will work in conjunction with an Account Executive who will have the overall client relationship responsibility;
A strong ability to build relationships and work with others is a key requirement of the role as there will be a need to link in closely with the Broking team at renewal time and with the Claims team from time to time.
Producing client reports, cover summaries, checking policies and responding to daily insurance queries and questions from clients will be the main features of the handler’s day.

Requirements: -

-Looking for someone with a minimum 10years’ experience handling Commercial clients;
-DIP CII Qualified would be a major advantage;
-This role should appeal to you if you are already in a similar position, maybe working for a smaller broker with limited career prospects;
