My client based in Basildon is currently recruiting for a Part Qualified Accountant : ideally ACA but will consider candidates with ACCA but with a practice background. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy hands on team where you will be working closely with another Management Accountant as well as the Finance Director as part of a team of 6.

The role itself will include but not limited to

• Ensuring promotion forms have been authorised and logged
• Analysing budgets and promotions
• Actual v Variance with sales
• Calculating net sales
• Forecasting central sales
• Profit and loss accounts
• Assisting with month end
• Accruals and Journals
• Producing reports for Management level
• Identifying discrepancies and rectifying

If members of the team are on holiday then you would be required to assist with their duties as well so working as part of a team is essential

Essential skills

• Excel skills (VLook ups, pivot tables)
• Sage experience ideally (not essential)
• Excellent organisation skills
• Studying ACA Qualification
