I am currently recruiting for a Finance Director to work alongside the owner of multiple businesses in order to allow him to focus on continuing to drive the business forward.

The company is made up of a retail and a wholesale company. Although you will be mainly focused on the Wholesale aspect you will be involved in the Retail side as well.

My client is not looking for someone to manage the finance team but someone who can join the company and move the business forward, audit the two Financial Controllers who manage the day to day running and mainly looking at assisting the Chairman with managing his and the company’s money. The client also has various property companies which he will need assistance with.

Candidates will need to be switched on and have worked in medium sized companies previously.

Key duties:

• Assisting the Chairman with the running of the business
• Strategy implementation
• Money management
• Private pension management
• Dealing with banks and property
• Implementing plans
• Dealing with exchange rates
• Liaising with auditors
• Financial planning
• Involved in acquisitions and mergers
• Pension administration
• Supporting internal management

Candidates will be switched on, bright and able to think strategically.

Offering salary of c£80k+
