My client is a prestigious automotive company based in York, who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their growing team. This is a very unique role, you will be dealing with finance transaction, credit control and liaising with Account Executive. You will be reporting to directly to the Finance Supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• All administrative duties within the Accounts Department
• Confirm all emails are responded to
• Authorize all invoices processed and filed efficiently
• Certify the reports are updated
• Confirm all vehicles are on the insurance
• Deal with all Email enquiries
• Assist the Finance Director and Finance Supervisor as and when required
• Maintain the confidential nature of information
• Ensure all incoming and outgoing post is actioned daily
• Weekly Group Diaries
• Group Bookings
• Sage and COC upload
• Department 1 invoicing and debtor control
• Aged debt control



KEY SKILLS

• Excellent administrative skills and be proficient in using a computer, especially Word, Excel, MS Office Ability to learn to use bespoke systems
• Have excellent customer service and communication skills
• SAGE 50/200
• Attention to detail
• Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Be able to prioritise a varied workload
• Possess a ‘Can Do’ work ethos

Salary Β£17,000 - Β£19,000
