We are currently recruiting for a Compliance, Training and Competence Manager for one of the leading investment management companies in the UK based in London, dedicated to serving the private investor.

Initially the role will be an interim role for 6 months with the potential of evolving with a salary of £ circa £50,000 - £60,000 pro rata + exceptional benefits.

The role in brief:

You will be responsible for the training and competency framework, policy and for the supervision of all regulated staff within Asset Management and Financial Planning divisions. The role will ensure that the Training and Competence Scheme is communicated to all employees who undertake regulatory activities and work with managers to embed appropriate training and development to maintain ongoing competence in all areas.

Qualifications:

• Preferably educated to degree level with a professional industry level 4 qualification.

Experience:

• Experience within Financial Services organisations essential.
• Strong understanding of FCA rules and guidelines.
• In depth knowledge of UK financial planning legislation.
• Knowledge of UK regulatory bodies, legal requirements and accredited bodies.
• Experience and evidence of delivering improvements through T&C.
• A strong knowledge of current training practices and models.
• Experience of managing and implementing change.
• Experience of client facing service delivery.
• Experience of performance coaching and giving feedback.
