We are working exclusively with an established international consultancy based in the heart of London. They are looking for an experienced HR Assistant to join the business ASAP to cover a 12 month contact.

Reporting into the HR Director, the role will be working as part of a small team covering all aspects of HR. With around 250 global employees the role is a generalist position, with additional involvement on key projects. Key duties and responsibilities will include;

•First point of contact for key division in the business, taking responsibility and ownership on all aspects including: Recruitment, Employee relations, HR system, Training & Development, HR best practice and policies
•Attend (and present) at your allocated business unit team meetings
•Partner with the business to advise and coach on organisational and people issues
•Equip managers with HR knowledge and skill to improve overall people management capability
•Coach line managers on HR policies and processes and provide direction and advice in their application in order to remain consistent and fair
•Address and resolve employee relations issues including conducting investigations, disciplinaries, grievance and redundancies and partner with senior manager to make recommendations to determine the appropriate course of action

•Conduct exit interviews
•Involvement and HR lead on key projects and initiatives within the business - including lead on a new HR system implementation, Career mapping, performance management upgrade and Training & Development initiatives

For this role it is essential that candidates have SME experience and are confident working in a busy and hands on role. Having worked at a similar level is essential, with good generalist HR experience. International experience would be an advantage, although is not essential. Ideally candidates will hold CIPD (or equivalent) - although experience is the most important factor for this role.

It would be a distinct advantage if candidates have had experience working (and leading) on a HR system implementation. This will involve leading the project and will encompass the full tender process; choosing the provider, data migration, mapping and full integration into the business. So an exciting and important project for the business and one that will showcase the individual leading this!

This is an immediate need, so please get in touch ASAP. It is a fantastic role, that offers a varied and hands on role, with involvement with key projects and dealing with senior stakeholders in the business.

For more information please apply on-line and a consultant from Cameron James will be in touch.
