Commercial Insurance Account Handler
Location: Liverpool
Salary - Up to £25k + Great Benefits +++

A fantastic opportunity to join a growing Independent Brokerage in the Liverpool area who are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join their expanding team.

Duties of the Commercial Insurance Account Handler Role:

• Assisting clients directly with regards to their Insurance needs
• Building strong, long lasting relationships with your client base
• Managing accounts, answering policies queries and offering professional advice
• Dealing with mid-sized SME business and premiums from £5k - £50k
• Providing quotations for Commercial Insurance to range of clients located mainly in the local area
• Utilising e-trade systems, existing relationships with insurers and the experience of your colleagues
• Preparing and presenting information to clients, broker and insurers

Requirements for this Commercial Insurance Account Handler Role:

• At least 3 years’ experience in all classes of Commercial Insurance products
• Certificate in Insurance is desirable but not essential
• Computer literate with good experience of MS package
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to use your own initiative and work within a team environment

The ideal candidate will have experience across all main classes of Commercial Insurance products, enjoy working within a team environment and want to apply their experience to a really exciting, expanding brokerage.

Experience within insurance is essential for this role, although full training will be provided on the type of risks they would expect an understanding on the life cycle of a policy. To fit in to the environment you will need to be a confident and outgoing person with excellent verbal communication skills.
