Cameron James Professional Recruitment is working with a manufacturing organisation in Wakefield, who are looking to appoint a full time HR Assistant on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic time to join the business who are experiencing growth and have exciting growth plans for the future. Working alongside the HR Manager there will be plenty of scope to progress further into the role and take on more responsibility as the business grows. The start date is August 2016.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide effective and efficient administrative support to the HR Manager and Senior team, ensuring all are provided with key information and support on HR policies & procedures.
- Develop, advise and implement policies relating to the effective use of personnel.
- Support the business with recruitment and training & development to help support performance and the company’s objectives.
- Prepare and issue new starter information and monitor probationary periods.
- Maintain employee records
- Monitor and record absences.
- Undertake regular salary reviews and monitor payroll.
- Support management with grievances and disciplinaries.
- Monitor and track KPI data
- Support management with performance management.

This HR Assistant post is a generalist role, supporting 100+ employees, working in a fast pace environment. The successful candidate will have a minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role and ideally you will be CIPD qualified. If not CIPD qualified, you must have extensive experience within a similar HR role. You will be an excellent communicator, adept at dealing with complex information, passionate about HR, driven and have a can do attitude.
