Personal Lines Account Handler

Location: Blackpool area

Salary - up to £20,000 + Bonus Scheme + Pension

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join an established regional Personal Lines insurance broker who require a pro-active sales professional who has previous experience of personal lines insurance gained within an intermediary environment

A well respected, leading brokerage built on the principles of customer service, competitive pricing and a friendly, personal approach. They have an excellent reputation in the local market, work in partnership with reputable insurers and offer great development opportunities.

Key Duties;

• You will primarily deal with personal lines/private clients products including motor and household insurance
• You will provide a full sale, marketing and advice service to existing and new clients
• You will work with the commercial team to generate business Identify potential sales from all new business enquiries
• Analyse existing client base and make suitable timely recommendations
• To complete supporting documentation in a compliant and accurate manner
• Dealing with customers and insurers both face to face and over the telephone

Requirements;

• You will have experience working within the insurance industry, with a background in working for a broker/intermediary
• A proven, successful sales record is advantageous.
• Dealing with different personal lines insurance products including Motor and Household insurance
• Good communication, numerical & analytical skills required
• You should be able to work with minimal supervision and work well within a team environment
• Previous experience of using CDL is ideal, but not necessary
