Due to continued growth, my client is currently looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Commercial Account Handler to join their busy sales team.
As an Account Handler you will be working alongside a hardworking team of insurance professionals and your focus will be to act as a primary point of contact for client services issues, establishing effective relationships. You will produce professional and complete documentation and correspondence in a compliant and timely manner.
Key Duties;
• You will primarily deal with SME insurance products including liabilities, property, hotel, guesthouse, small commercial combined
• You will provide a full sale, marketing and advice service to existing and new clients
• Dealing with premiums up to £20,000
• You will work with the commercial team to generate business Identify potential sales from all new business enquiries
• Analyse existing client base and make suitable timely recommendations
• To complete supporting documentation in a compliant and accurate manner
• Dealing with customers and insurers both face to face and over the telephone
Requirements;
• You will have experience working within the insurance industry, with a background in working for a broker/intermediary
• A proven, successful sales record is advantageous.
• Experience dealing with different commercial insurance products including Motor and Household insurance
• Great communication, numerical & analytical skills required
• Professional qualifications such as Cert CII would be of assistance but not a pre requisite to this position.
• You should be able to work with minimal supervision and work well within a team environment
• Previous experience of using CDL is ideal, but not necessary
