Our highly reputable and established IFA practise based in Huddersfield requires an Administrator, with financial services experience and Qualifications who cn "Hit the ground running".
This exciting opportunity requires somebody with previous experience of an administrative role within financial services and a good understanding of an IFA practice.
Reporting into the practice principal, responsibilities within the role will include;
• Processing new business applications in a timely and compliant manner
• Liaising with product providers, clients and callers as necessary
• Inputting new business and maintaining and ensuring that new and existing records, both computerised and manual, are kept up to date
• All Filing - creating new files and maintaining existing files
• Provide administrative and clerical support to consultants as required
• Paraplanning experience is desirable (working closely with a paraplanner)
This Role is due to quickly go from administration into basic paraplanning with aim to become a fully fledged paraplanner. You will Shadow the Head Paraplanner while doing all the main Admin work.
Experience in an administrative role within an IFA practice is desirable, (possibly in a paraplanning role) as is good computer literacy. Candidates will need good written and verbal skills along with strong organisational skills.
