Our client is seeking a confident, motivated Commercial insurance professional who will take a pro-active approach to providing a high level of client service, demonstrating initiative and providing input to drive improvements forward.

Excellent career opportunity for an experienced Commercial Broker / Handler to join a leading name in the region as they look to expand their support team following a string of successful acquisitions.

Working alongside the Account Executives and management team, to provide a full service for new and existing clients. Clients are drawn from a wide sector of Commerce and Industry - both traditional and new industries.

Accurately identifying client requirements to provide the most competitive and comprehensive quotations, in respect of new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments

Speaking regularly with leading Insurers/Underwriters to discuss terms and cover in order to successfully place risks for clients.

Experience required:

• Min of 3 years Commercial Insurance experience
• An in depth understanding of most Commercial policies, i.e. Property Risks, Casualty, Motor Fleet, Motor Trade, Professional Indemnity etc.
• Exposure to dealing with mid corporate accounts
• Strong communication skills, able to work closely with clients with a consultative approach.
• Strong numerical skills.
• Cert CII qualification as a minimun
