Cameron James Recruitment is working with a dynamic and profitable company to recruit a Finance Director. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious FD to join a rapidly growing company. Industry. Working with the CFO, you will take responsibility for the finance and treasury function, including statutory financial reporting, the provision of management information and formulation of budgets.

Responsibilities will include:

• You will be responsible for control of the financial transactions of the company and day to day transactions.
• Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts for the Board of Directors
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Preparation of year end accounts and liaison with our external accountants / auditors
• Weekly cash flow management
• Weekly bank statement reconciliations
• Manage the insurance portfolio.
• Lead on risk management and sit on the Risk / Health and Safety Committees.
• Lead on government reporting
• Maintain asset registers and calculate Monthly/Annual depreciation
• Quarterly VAT return preparation and submission
• Lead on government reporting and submission to HMRC.
• Cost control and management
• Stock reporting and valuation
• Financial strategy and business planning
• Liaison with the company’s financiers, banks and auditors.
• Negotiation with suppliers on annual renewals of service contracts
• Day to day management of the finance team

The appointment of the financial Director is crucial to the future growth of the business. The ideal candidate will be intelligent, articulate, forward thinking with strong initiative. You will need to be a qualified accountant with a solid grounding in accounts. My client would be really interested in any candidates with Food Industry experience and it is essential that you will have used SAP.

Salary : 70,000 : 80,000 + Company Car + Bonus + Pension + Benefits
