Cameron James are partnering with a highly successful and profitable manufacturing business in the Wakefiield area in their search for a Sales Ledger Clerk.

Our client, a market leader with an enviable list of blue chip clients is looking for a self-motivated, proactive individual to join their lively finance team.

With a direct report into the Finance Manager you will be responsible for effectively ensuring the amounts due to the business from customers are collected in accordance with the terms and conditions agreed, ensuring debit notes and recharges are dealt with effectively, refuting where necessary and ensuring these are rapid. Effectively ensuring sales invoices are raised as jobs are completed to avoid delays in receiving funds due from customers.

Responsibilities:

· Raising and issuing sales invoices on a daily basis
· Ensure invoices are accurate against internal sales orders generated and customer order documents
· Investigating customer queries and issuing sales credit notes where necessary in accordance with Sheridan authorisation policy
· Daily scanning of delivery notes to INVU for updating by reception
· Key account daily EDI checks prior to sending invoices to EDI customers
· Cash book sales receipts processing and allocating
· Credit control for key accounts and independent customers
· Reporting on daily, weekly and monthly invoiced sales statistics to the rest of the business
· Invoice Financing uploads and administration
· Raising monthly customer rebate credit notes in accordance with VBA’s (Vendor Buying Agreements) where applicable
· Produce month end sales ledger statements and reconciliation of Aged Debtors to Debtors Control Account.
