Commercial Account Handler

Location: Liverpool

Status: Full Time

Salary: Up to £30,000 + Excellent benefits

Company Profile: My client is one of the leading independent brokers in the United Kingdom. They are well established and are a financial stable company with a strong presence in the insurance market.

Job Description:

� Provide broking and administrative services to a range of clients.
� Develop and maintain positive on-going relationships with insurers and underwriters in a professional manner
� Supporting Account Executives on a day to day basis
� Checking policy documents (including endorsements) for accuracy prior to receipt by clients
� Managing accounts, answering policies queries and offering professional advice
� Dealing with mid-sized SME business and premiums from £5k - £50k
� Providing quotations for Commercial Insurance to range of clients located mainly in the local area
� Utilising e-trade systems, existing relationships with insurers and the experience of your colleagues
� Preparing and presenting information to clients, broker and insurers

Qualifications:

� Cert CII or above is beneficial but not essential

Experience

� At least 5+ years of experience in dealing with most classes of Commercial Insurance
� Experience in the insurance industry in a similar role is essential

Education

� GCSE level or above

Skills

� Strong communication skills to confidently explain information and converse with customers/clients
� Good knowledge of the Commercial market place
� Organizational skills to effectively process all paperwork/products
� Self-confidence to take the initiative to approach potential customers/clients
� Working within a team environment
� IT Literate
