We are working exclusively with a well-established Accountancy Firm and they are looking for an experienced HR Manager.

This role is a 13 Month Contract to start ASAP - so candidates will ideally be immediate or on 1-2 weeks’ notice.

Reporting into the Senior Partner the role has full responsibility for the HR function within the business. The role is a varied generalist HR Manager position and its main focus will be to provide HR support to the senior management team and embed best practice HR initiatives and processes within the business. Key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Managing and responsibility for the HR function, including day to day management of the HR advisor.
• Ensure all corporate policies, standards and agreed employee relations processes are adhered to by all staff, rectifying any non-conformances as appropriate
• Providing HR support to around 120 employees within the business
• Supporting Partners and senior managers with advice and support on HR best practice and policies
• Supporting and Coaching managers and directors on all ER matters; contracts of employment, absence and attendance and performance management issues ect
• Manage all recruitment including succession planning and internal movement, plus overseeing the gradate recruitment scheme
• Work with L&D / Training Teams to align learning and development plans such that talent is retained and performance is maximised
• Lead benchmarking of reward and recognition packages to ensure appropriately placed in market
• Providing HR support and guidance to key clients of the firm
• Supporting managers with the appraisals process and full employee life cycle

For this role candidates will ideally hold CIPD (or equivalent) and must have worked in a similar level role. Candidates with professional services experience : accountancy or law firms (or similar) will have a distinct advantage, although is not essential.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, plus the ability to work as part of the senior management team.
