We are working with an established manufacturing business who are looking to appoint a HR Manager on a full time, permanent basis ASAP.

Reporting into the Directors, the role will be responsible for managing a small team and providing a full generalist HR service across the organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking business who is consistently growing, where you will work as part of the management and support directors. Key duties & responsibilities:

•Lead & direct HR team to deliver a comprehensive HR service to the business
•Implementing and reviewing HR policies, processes & procedures
•Managing employee relations, such as absence, disciplinaries, grievances, and sickness
•Measuring employee satisfaction and identifying areas that need improvement
•Performance management - coaching managers on issues and processes
•Learning, Development and Training - providing guidance, implementing agenda, and identifying needs
•Managing recruitment and retention through talent and succession planning
•Coaching & advising senior management on all people issues
•Managing HR budget
•Devising business and people solutions for the organisation

For this role it is essential that candidates have experience working at this level and ideally be CIPD Qualified (or equivalent).

Strong employment law knowledge will be required, with an an adaptable, positive, and pragmatic approach. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
