Cameron James Recruitment is working with a dynamic and profitable company to recruit a Finance Director. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious FD to join their rapidly growing company based in the city. Reporting into the Managing Director you will have full responsibility for the financial control of the company and will be expected to improve and develop current systems and processes.

Responsibilities will include:

• Support all the commercial decision making of the business
• Lead financial due diligence on potential acquisition targets
• Liaison with banks and corporate finance partners
• Provide robust management information to Senior Management
• Have considerable input into the day to day operations and long term strategy of the business
• Oversee the budget and long range planning proposals
• Provide input into key decision making around investments and commercial proposals
• You will be responsible for control of the financial transactions of the company and day to day transactions.
• Preparation of Monthly management Accounts for the Board of Directors
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Preparation of year end accounts and liaison with our external accountants / auditors
• Weekly cash flow management
• Quarterly VAT return preparation and submission
• Production of the annual P11D`s and submission to HMRC.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Fully qualified from either the ACA, ACCA, FCCA, CIMA or a Masters in finance/accounting
• A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in a role of similar content.
• Experience of working within a VC backed company
