Job Information
We are assisting a reputable name within the insurance industry as they look to expand their Commercial New Business department with an experienced Handler.Excellent opportunity for a Commercial Account Handler that has an interest in placing new business enquiries, as well as handling existing clients through renewals and mid-term amendments.
Responsibilities of the Commercial Account Handler:
• Working within an experienced team servicing the insurance needs of their new commercial clients
• Create prospect client presentations to forward to insurers
• Negotiate premiums and cover for your clients
• Provide technical advice on clients insurance programmes
• Invoicing and Credit Control
• Assist in the resolution of claims queries
Requirements for the Commercial Account Handler:
• 5 years + Insurance experience within a Broker environment
• New Commercial Business, Small Business Unit, Commercial, Liability or Property insurance experience
• Willingness to commit to undertaking the CII Exams
• Excellent communication skills : written and verbal
• Natural problem solver
