Cameron James are partnering with a leading South Yorkshire based organisation in their search for a Sales Executive.

Our client, a leading training consultancy provider is looking for an experienced commercially astute sales professional to generate business development opportunities for existing and prospective clients with customer groups including Colleges, Employers, Students and Professionals.

We are looking for confident and persuasive sales professionals who are equally adept at building strong client relationships both over the phone and in business meetings.

As this role will require travel across the UK a full clean driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the outbound call targets within the department for subscriptions, products, courses and events;
• Support inbound calls ensuring they are directed to the relevant person/department;
• Support social media accounts, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter, using them to seek opportunities and increase commercial benefits;
• Support the Sales & Marketing director as required but mainly to collate information for new initiatives, developing concepts for products and services;
• Ensure the web shop and products listed are up to date;
• Research the market for potential business opportunities which lead to sales;
• Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to generate sales;
• Gathering market and customer information;
• Lead generation - responsible for self-generating business leads and closing opportunities;
• Support, attend and Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations;
• To identify & cultivate new clients across the Group.
• Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to exceed targets;
• To achieve any other related sales targets (KPI’s) objectives identified as initiatives grow and develop as agreed within performance reviews
• All Administration for registers and customer memberships;
• Record and track leads and other opportunities on the internal CRM, Salesforce;
• Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries;
• Attending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues;
• Monitor and report on KPIs against targets on a monthly basis
• To undertake any further reasonable duties as required by the company

Key competencies

• Proven track record in a proactive sales role;
• Demonstrable experience of working to and exceeding targets;
• Experience of managing a client base;
• Experience of using Salesforce or other internal CRM systems;
• An excellent track record in securing contracts and sales from customers;
• An excellent track record in delivering products and services with high customer satisfaction
