About the Demand Planner Role:

• Create and transmit replenishment orders within the agreed schedule.
• Work directly with VMI Analyst and/or National Account Manager to gain understanding of their retail inventory management plans and needs in order to build and execute an appropriate demand plan.
• Maintain order sizes to be cost effective and within desired days of supply at warehouse and retailers.
• Ensure new release orders are transmitted to the Vendor or Manufacturer in line with the critical time plan.
• Manage and monitor all new release orders through the critical path via weekly vendor conference calls and flag issues to all stakeholders. Document and maintain data of forthcoming releases, delivery dates and forecasts.
• Utilise existing stock wherever possible to meet retailer demands.
• Maintain warehouse inventory levels to agreed customer KPI’s keeping all required parties informed with a forward view towards end consumer demands.
• Manage warehouse Inventory utilizing the Vision System as well as other systems/tools as required.

About you as the Demand Planner

• You will have previous professional experience in demand planning and inventory management within the entertainment or FMCG environment.
• Able to accurately forecast and report on stock and inventory levels as well as predict future demand
• IT literate, a high level use of MS Excel, previous use of ERP systems would be essential within the role
• You must be confident communicating at all levels both internally and externally
